David Beckham Pops Up In Fun Adidas Olympics Photo Campaign

With only a couple of days left to go until the Olympics, the marketing campaigns are really starting to kick off. Adidas have wheeled in the biggest UK star of them all, David Beckham, to launch a fun and moving campaign.

The concept is remarkably simple, the brand is just taking photos of random people in a booth when in pops David Beckham from a side entrance to surprise them.

It is the look of shock and excitement that make this campaign work. The video has a really nice feel to it and it makes you think about Adidas in a very positive way and in some ways it doesn’t even feel like an advert.

Beckham is said to have a role in the opening ceremony and there is no doubt that Adidas will be using their most important advertising asset in a number of ways during the coming weeks as the Olympics marketing wars really get going.
